The Columbus Mavericks are thrilled to announce the signing of defenseman Michal Jansa for the 2024-25 season. Entering his first season in the USPHL, the Česká Třebová, Czech Republic native comes to the Mavericks from HC Dynamo Pardubice.

Mavericks Head Coach & GM, Joey Recktenwald is looking forward to what Jansa's two-way game brings to this year's squad. "Michal brings a unique blend of size and ability that will be a huge boost to our club in both the offensive and defensive zones. He’s an intelligent player that knows when to jump into the rush to give his team a boost, and when to focus on the defensive side of the game. When I saw him skate in the Czech Republic, he stood out to me as a guy who has a very high ceiling that could immediately make a big impact in the USPHL."
