Following graduation, Joey moved east to play junior hockey with the Elmira Jr. Jackals of the Empire Hockey League. He returned to Ohio where he spent his final junior season with the Columbus Jr. B Blue Jackets of the Central States Hockey League. After semi-pro stints with Findlay Freedom of the NEHL and the Wooster Warriors of the MAHL, Joey accepted the Varsity Head Coach position with the Northeast Storm of the OSHL. Joey has most recently spent the last 7 years as an assistant coach of the Hilliard Wildcats of the OSHL.

Ben is responsible for all things marketing for the Mavericks, including the team's website and social media, game day experience, and sponsorships. Following high school hockey, he spent three years playing junior hockey with the Columbus Stars and subsequently Columbus Jr. B Blue Jackets in the Central States Hockey League.

Holly works to recruit, match and support Central Ohio host families and our rookie or out-of-town Mavericks’ players.
Holly grew up a hockey fan, played intramural hockey and took hockey classes in college to fulfill physical education credits (coincidentally, taught by Bill Davidge, retired Columbus Blue Jackets announcer and former Miami University men’s hockey coach).
Away from the rink, Holly is an HR performance improvement consultant and owns BlueSkyIdea@1420 a creative retreat and meeting space. She is a travel hockey mom and “Billet Mom.” She and her husband have two grown daughters, one son and two crazy dogs. They live in Delaware.
