GAME DAY OPERATIONS
Gero von Dehn
Voice of the Mavericks
Gero is entering his first season as the Voice of the Mavericks for every HockeyTV broadcast. The Western Pennsylvania native brings a wealth of broadcasting experience to the team in a range of sports, including hockey, baseball, lacrosse, and boxing. Most recently, Gero spent over 15 years as the broadcast voice of the Men’s and Women’s hockey and lacrosse teams at Robert Morris University. During the summer months, Gero resides in Fairbanks, AK where he is the Voice of the Alaska Goldpanners baseball team. In addition to his broadcasting experience, Gero has also worked in other areas of sports media including stints as a reporter, feature writer, and stringer for Pittsburgh professional sports and Fightnews.com.

Michael Pittroff
Public Address Announcer
Michael is the Voice of the Mavericks at OhioHealth Chiller North and is entering his second season as the team’s Public Address Announcer. Michael also provides music for in-game entertainment. Michael has been providing these services since 2007 in Columbus for both CCYHA Travel hockey teams and currently the Olentangy Liberty Patriots High School Hockey programs.
Away from the Mavericks, Michael is the Regional Sales Director for Olah Healthcare Technology and resides in Powell, OH with his wife, daughter and three hockey-playing sons.

Kat Case
Game Day Operations Intern
Kat is entering her third season as the Mavericks’ Game Day Operations Intern. On any given game day, you will find Kat coordinating game day promotions, managing 50/50 raffle sales, or helping out with stats and scorekeeping. A current student at The Ohio State University, Kat grew up playing hockey in Columbus and is a member of the Ohio State Women’s Club team.

Kelly Logan
Broadcast Intern
Kelly is entering his third season as the Mavericks’ Broadcast Intern. Kelly partner’s with the Maverick’s Play-by-Play Announcer, Matt, to ensure that our HockeyTV broadcasts are second-to-none. On any given game day, you will find Kelly operating the camera, troubleshooting broadcast issues, and arranging on-air interviews. Kelly grew up playing hockey in Columbus, including high school hockey with the Hilliard Hockey Club of the OSHL.
Kelly is a recent graduate of Capital University where he majored in Marketing.

Winnie Ha
Social Media Intern
Winnie Ha is entering her first season with the Columbus Mavericks as the team's Social Media Intern. Prior to joining the Mavericks, Winnie worked with the Surrey Eagles in the British Columbia Hockey League.
Away from the rink, Winnie is a first year Law School student at the Ohio State University.
