Mavericks Head Coach & General Manager, Nate Handrahan, announced Monday morning, that veteran defenseman, Charlie Friel has been signed for the 2022-23 USPHL season. The 2003 New Albany, OH native is entering his second season in the USPHL after playing for the Islanders Hockey Club. Before entering the USPHL, Friel spent two seasons with the storied Shattuck St. Mary's program.
