As Dan K Show host, Dan Kmiechick, noted "We at the Dan K Show always remind players to take full advantage of their opportunities at USPHL Showcases." Deric Richison did that, and more this past weekend in Michigan posting 11 points in just three days! Richison’s best performance of the weekend came in an early Game of the Year candidate between his Columbus Mavericks and the Detroit Fighting Irish. Richison scored four goals in 2 periods and added an assist in an 8-6 see-saw battle of potent offenses. After his stellar weekend, Richison now sits in second-place overall in points in the USPHL Premier with 13, trailing only his Great Lakes rival from the Toledo Cherokee Bailey Byrd.

The Mavs are back in action this weekend with a home-and-home series against the Pittsburgh Vengeance with a 6:30 PM matchup at Pittsburgh's Alpha Ice Complex on Friday followed by a 7:00 PM face-off at home at OhioHealth Chiller North on Saturday, October 10th.
